"I received the G4010 on the 23rd after ordering it the previous Friday. I didn't read the reviews here before ordering but when I did, I noticed the complaints about operating under Vista. I went ahead and downloaded the software and drivers in anticipaiton of the problems noted by others (DSL broadband). When the scanner arrived, I quickly set it up and tested it. "HP should be ashamed of this scanner and their included HP Solution software - and I am an HP fan, replacing an HP ScanJet 5400C that died after 7 years, doing 20-50 scans per day. "Finally! A scanner that does what it says it will do. It scans 5 slides at a time (not 2, not 4, but 5!) and does is quickly. It also scans negatives, documents, and photos.
