"It is easily recognized by XP and the 3rd party software it comes with, but not Sk*** or Goo*** talk, so i'm at a loss for it's overall usefulness. Also the third party software will not recognize it's 1600x1200 @ 5fps video and the 12MP captures, and is limited to 640x480 @ 30fps and 2MP respectively. Considering it cant be used by these two programs, it's ability to be a "web" cam is not existent(for me anyway..." Read Full Review »

"The picture quality is bad unless you are in bright light. Tried 2 different computers with 2 different modems on 2 different internet connections, video would not stay connected on the other end for more than 30 seconds. "

"This camera beats any other I have had. I love the auto focus and the light that comes on to tell me it is broadcasting is so cool. I have become an HP fan and love all the products I have purchased from HP. The Webcam also comes with great software and is easy to use. "
