"I use this HDTV as a 2nd Monitor for my office computer. It looks great on my desk and has a bright hi-def image. I was a little disappointed that it will not allow full hi-def with the RGB input (only 1600X1050), so I bought a DVI --> HDMI adapter and it works well, although the image is a little grainy for small fonts and details (I'm assuming that's because of the adaptation of the signal?...). "This particular model will cutoff some of the 1080p signal from the hi-def signals. It didn't present a problem for me, because the graphics card in my HTPC scaled the picture down to around 1900 x 1035, but anyone using an off-the-shelf DVD or Blu-ray player probably won't be able to do this.
