"I owned a Bogen 10 lb tripod and needed a HD tripod for my 11 lb Binoculars. I was tired of lugging the Bogen around and found the Gitzo GT3541L. What an unbelievable stable light tripod. HUGE advantage over my Bogen. I can extend all the way up and very steady. Very Compact.
