Gitzo GT-2531 Mountaineer 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs - Supports 26.4 lbs (12kg) Review
Pros

"This is a great tripod, period. I started off ordering a Slik 500 and Manfrotto midi-size ballhead that was just not right for my needs (Nikon D700 with 80-200 and other similar lenses). "Very light weight yet very stable. Handles a Nikon D80 with 70-200 mm lens like it's nothing. The carbon fiber legs absorb vibration and dampen them quickly. Superb stability for landscapes, panos, and moon photography. Only cons are the leg locks for the terminally impatient; it takes longer to sec …" Read Full Review »
