"I love this pole. It is long enough for almost any situation I've been in and light enough not to be a drag on any operator. We moved up from a shorter pole and honestly my advice would be to never spend the money on a shorter one. You will need the length and this is the best bang for the buck. "

"I love this Boom, we use it on most of our Outdoor/On Location shoots. Why purchase a shorter boom when you know your going to eventually need a longer one. Of course if your strapped for cash, then sure go with a shorter Gitzo. "
