"I did quite a bit of research for a universal dock before I actually purchased one. There are a plethora of selections out there; however, I've found that many of them are overpriced for what they do. If you spend your money on an Apple product, be prepared to shell out close to $100 once you purchase all the accessories you'll need to run it. That's simply unacceptable. Replacement doesn't work either. Touch 2

"The first one worked great for 2 weeks, then the charge function started turning on and off every couple seconds. The Touch 2nd Generation still charged normally by my computer USB via the Apple-supplied cable. [...] The replacement lasted only 2 days before the same charging problem occured again.
