"This does okay if you're connecting a mouse or flash drive. It does not work with the small portable 2.5" external hard disks (western digital nor seagate freeagent), even with the "Y cable" there is not enough juice to power the drive. I'm returning it for a refund "

"Use XP SP3--won't install and no 'support' to get it to install. The ports are very tight...so if it did work, have to jam the usb device into it. "
