perfect for recording night migration

"We use the microphone for recording night migration of bird calls. Our microphones lasted for months in outdoor conditions with minor weather protection. Recording was continuous and we had no failures. Sound quality was good. The microphones were extremely easy to use and adaptable for our use. All in all an excellent choice for this application...." "This microphone does not pick up any sound unless it is within an inch of the source. I maxed out the sensitivity and gain on my computer, but I still had to yell into it from 6 inches away to hear anything. The cord does have a decent length and this was inexpensive...." Read Full Review »

"This thing would not register my voice at all unless I was either talking very loudly or holding it a few inches in front of my mouth. It utterly fails as a clip-on microphone and it certainly would be no good if you kept it on the included mount on your monitor or tower. Total waste of money. "

"I used this microphone to record vocals for a song, and when you record with it, it lags very much, I have to practically eat the microphone for it to pick up sound, and it skips very often "
