"What a simple gadget. And what an important job it does. Anyone who has ever put a filter on a lens, and then been unable to remove it will appreciate this product. I always hesitate using my polarizer because it is so hard to remove. Because one part of it rotates, it is almost impossible to get a good grip on the filter. "These are 3mm thick plastic which bend and wobble. If the filter is not on tight it can remove it. I found that using the pair of them together works much better. However they do have a tendency to slide around on a tight filter. I glued a rubber band to one and it worked better, however it did reduce the max filter size it could be used on.
