"I just got this about 2 weeks ago, and it has been working great! this has ALREADY saved my computer from shutting off during thunderstorms that we get on a daily basis in Florida during the summers. the computer did not even glitch, or even showed signs of the computer acting up or loosing power, while the house lost power a few times for a few seconds/minutes, during the activities of my computer usage. 120..." "I have had this unit for 2 weeks. It loses data connection with the PC about 8 out of 10 times that I boot up. It will show the error ppped.exe and then when you try to debug, the data connection from the UPS to the PC will be terminated. "Most products with AVR (Automatic voltage Regulation) are happy to run on a generator or inverter. This includes Belkin, Tripplite, and APC. Not this one. At least with the neat LCD screen you can get an idea why. In my case the generator was putting out 63 Hz rather than 60 Hz.
