"I live within in 7 miles of the transmitting towers and this antenna even with the amplier would do its best to picking up around 60 percent on a good day. Poor signal or lost with transimitting towers over 15 miles and no signal recieved above 25 miles. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
