"Purchased this machine on 1/7/09 to replace a Gateway 4710-05 (now discontinued) which started throwing Blue Screens within a week of purchase (after I had given it a positive review, of course). Why did I try Gateway again? First and foremost, Best Buy was so good about the return of the first one. Building a system with the features I wanted would have carried more risk. "The specs on this computer are impressive. My unit however, crashed in less than a week. A call to Gateway support resulted in direction to return the tower for repairs, and a multipage email containing specific details required for shipping, including packaging, insurance and carriers.
