"I got this primarily to be able to edit AVCHD footage with Adobe Premiere. I am absolutely blown away at how powerful the Quad-core processor is. I'm able to run several resource-intensive applications at once without having to compromise performance with any of them. "This PC itself runs well with the exception that it had no sound despite Windows telling me that the soundcard was running fine, will have to return it tommorow. Gaming is meh, games like WoW and Spore are sluggish with the onboard graphics card, definitely needs a graphics card upgrade before it's gaming ready. "I bought this system to replace an aging homebuilt desktop I'd held onto for years. Although I am not a hardcore gamer, I do enjoy several flight simulation titles. My primary hope with this system is that it would run those titles well, and it does, and be robust enough for every day tasks.

"If you are looking for a machine that will allow you to check email, surf the Web, and use non-graphics intense applications then you've found it with the DX4710-05!
