"I found that this product does a nice job of diffusing my external flash. However, I was surprised to find it heavier than I expected. In fact, I am rarely able to use my flash at a 45-degree angle (from straight up); the diffuser's weight pulls the flash down to a 90-degree angle. "This really tames the harsh light of direct flash. If you don't have the means to get your flash off camera and diffused by some other method then this is the way to go. "

"As an event photographer (weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs) I need well-exposed shots. This allows me to do that in less than ideal situations without harsh shadows. While it looks like a small fruit bowl on your flash it does the job. I am very happy with this product. "
