"This was a neat idea with the product having a nonskid bottom, being weighted, and having an easily adjustable bean bag fill BUT it is not stable when on a dash. I did find it worked great for giving the GPS a stable platform and used it on top of the parking brake. I just wish I could have used it as it was intended. "I purchased this friction mount because I need to move to CA, in which they say mounting the GSP on front windows is illegal, which does not make sense to me but I have to obey... Anyway, I bought it. I used it. I love it... But please make sure you get the right mount for your GSP. "
