"If you have to get from Point A to Point B and you like spoken directions with street names, this device will more than meet your needs. It's clearly best on longer trips where you don't really know the best route. The free lifetime traffic information is a big differentiator with other similar products and can be helpful if you are uncertain about slowdowns along your route. Around town, the directions ten..." "We used this Garmin 265WT new on a trip from MA to NJ/NY metro area and back. I bought it with hopes for the traffic reporting capability. It was accurate as we approached Hartford, signaling a delay on I-91 south. However, it had no clue about slow traffic on I-287 crossing Westchester where we crawled at under 20 mph while the unit reported no traffic on route.
