Fujifilm Provia 400X (RXP III) 120 Color Slide Film Review
Pros
Cons
Best Uses
"Provia 400X provides much more contrast than its predecessor, Provia 400F. The better grain characteristics do make images clearer, however, the most visible differences/improvements are the warmer colors and higher contrast. "

"I took four rolls on my trip to Taiwan. Images burned great even under low light, e.g., dimly lit temples, outdoor markets at night, etc.

Fujifilm Provia 400X (RXP III) 120 Color Slide Film Review
Pros
Cons
Best Uses
"I have been using Velvia for years, however, Velvia is quite contrasty. Under bright sunlight, the shadow area loses details. Shady area also has a blue cast. Provia 400x solves these problems. The price you pay is the slight increase in grain size, an acceptable trade off in my book. "

"I use this for documentary/portrait photography when there isn't enough light to use Provia 100F. It's surprisingly fine-grained for a 400 ISO film. I use it with Zeiss lenses and like the dreamy quality I can get with that combination. Highly recommended. "
