Buy it, so you won't need it!

"Coverage for a black and white Laser Printer. The best feature of 2 year coverage is if anything needs fixing you can just return it where you bought it. If you rely on manufacture's 1 year warranty, if anything goes wrong, it will cost you more to ship it, or take it to a repair center than the cost of the 2 year insurance. "Didn't Live Up to What it Should Do"

"When I purchased my HP Officjet J5780 Printer, I purchased a 2-year Service Plan. I was told that if anything went wrong with the unit, outside of being stolen, it would be replaced with another model. When I had my 2nd HP Officejet J5780 Printer, I had a problem with the Power Button. It would not go off the first time.
