"I was worried when I ordered this puppy because of its shear size. This went into my new ASUS P5Q mobo and Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU setup and am I glad I got this tower. I must say pulling this out of the box and looking at where it had to fit on the mobo was a bit scary, but it worked great! You need to make sure you mount the CPU and this cooling tower first before installing your mobo into a case. There is ..." Read Full Review »

"I got this unit because of the reviews, and I don't know if I got a bad one or what. But basically, an E2180 chip at 2.7. This unit ran 8-9 degrees hotter than a Masscool 8W553. This was using the ''Torture Test'' with Prime95. I shut down Prime95 quickly because it shot up to 66 degrees and wasn't coming down. Idle temperature was hotter as well. Fanner MassCool 8WA741 CPU Fan Review
"I built a new system last year and wanted a good heat sink to protect my new Q6600. I read good reviews on the 8WA741 and ordered it. The thing was huge. It went on nicely though (spring loaded screws, not cheap plastic pins). It kept my CPU below 40C under all loads, so I was very happy.

"Been using this for 2 months now. Runs silent and keeps my 3.0 dhz duel core way cooler than the stock fan heatsink. Installation for a socket 775 does require that you remove the motherboard to replace the bracket for the screw posts but is a small price to pay for real screws, plactic pushin pins …" Read Full Review »
