"OK Being an Engineer who understands all kinds of Radars and wave propagation, I found this Escort to be the best on the market today. The GPS is an interesting idea and I have had the detector "Store" a few false alarms from building alarm motion detector systems leaking onto the road. Mostly X and K band. "The 9500ix is better than most radar detectors. Detection range is superb against all radar bands. The Autolearn feature has been known to randomly lock out real threats. Laser and I/O detection are poor. Other GPS features such as redlight camera locations and marked locations are useful.
