"First of all we did not get the proper owners manual, we got the one for the 15" Sylvania, The sound will not play loud enough to hear anywhere except right on top of the TV & we cannot find out if external speakers will work due to not having a proper owners manual. "Our daughter received this TV from Santa. It is light weight, takes up very little room, (can easily fit on a dresser), & the picture is excellent. (The sound is not that great.)We have yet to use the built in DVD player.
For the price we paid, (below $170 & shipping was only $9.99), it is worth it.

"had a problem only with the sound going up loud enough so i went to a store and bought speakers for a pc and hook it up to the ear phone plug in on the side and now the sound is perfect ok for the price and bedroom "
