The Elinchrom EL-Skyport Universal Radio Slave Set is a wireless radio slave system that is compatible with Elinchrom flashes as well as other flash brands. The included transmitter controls the basic functions of the Universal receiver or an RX which has the Transceiver RX attached to it. The Universal receiver integrates with the rest of the EL-Skyport system and - when controlled by the EL-Skyport Software - will accept both triggering and Flash-Delay settings controlled by the computer. The EL-Skyport system has a studio operating range of 164' (50 m) and 394' (120 m) outdoors. Interference free operation is guaranteed with 40 bit security.

"These thing work, There are some down falls but anything that can give me almost two years of service without fail is a good product. The down sides, they feel flimsy and a little too lightweight But have never broke one yet. also the transmitter does not attach to my hot shoe very well with no way to secure or tighten it. I didn't expect a such short live span

"Based on my limited experience, the EL-Skyport is very reliable if the transmitter can be held on the shoe base well. My EL-Skyport transmitter slided out the hot-shoe time to time during a photo session. One of a design flaw is that you can't lock the transmitter on the shoe base as what you can do with a regular flash.
