"I have an older TV that I wanted to be able watch DVDs on. I got a DVD player from BestBuy and hooked it up to an older gaming RF modulator. The results were acceptable but not what I'd hoped for. "My old DVD player died so I had to get a new one. Now, most DVD players come without tuners (unless you want to spend a lot more), so because of this, I was unable to connect the new player to my tv. This RF modulator worked perfectly as I had to convert the RCA calbes coming from the new player into RG6 cable to go to the tv.
