"I bought this for an airplane trip to keep my 3 and 6 year old occupied. The 7 inch screen was small, but no complaints when viewed a distance of under 3 feet. I ran a headset splitter and then put cheap (OK, free) headphones on the kids; they complained they could not hear at times. I might look at inexpensive noise-cancelling headphones in the future. "We bought this player specifically for the car so that on long trips out daughter would have something to do. It ended up being used every morning on the way to daycare to watch Barney.
