"I got this TV about 2 weeks ago because I was getting basic cable TV for the first time and needed something to warrant THAT expense. (Oy, why is life so complicated?) It's about 10 inches bigger than my old TV. I hooked it up and could finally see what I had been watching for years (so I'm saving on eyeglasses as well!). "The picture quality is horrendous. After working the settings on the TV for a half an hour, the best picture I could get from it still made the TV screen look extremely dull and fuzzy. At one point, I had sharpness maxed out and I still couldn't read anything on the screen. A really depressing buy.
