"Here's a new concept, products that actually work! I certainly didn't think this would make much difference on my camera & only got it because I hate the original Canon straps (40D w/ grip & 1D Mark III) & if Domke makes a version of what I'm looking for it's pretty much guaranteed that I'll go with them. "used these on my leicas for years but somehow my newest domke strap dropped my nikon d90 and 28-70 2.8 today. i was wearing my camera across my shoulder and had plenty of meat (extra strap above the buckle 4") but as i loaded my tripod in my car trunk i heard the strap slip (at buckle) and my camera crash to the ground.will never buy again[$]..." "I got this strap to replace my Nikon strap on my D80. I wanted something with a QR so when I use my tripod I can take the strap off. This is a GREAT strap. Very well made, and the best part is the QR are made of metal, not easily breakable plastic. "
