"This case is surely the best case out there for your iphone 3g. The volume button, the stanby/off button is nicely protected but easyly accessible. The 4 corners are well protected since this case has some more meat on the corners. "Purchased this a month after buying my iPhone. Suddenly had problems with the screen disappearing during phone calls. I realize that the screen is supposed to turn off when the phone is up to your ear, but the problem is that when you take it from your ear, it stays off. "I bought this product to stop me from dropping my phone - the shiny, slippery surface of the phone seems guaranteed to make it hit the ground! It works great. And - you CAN get to the 'sound on/off' button (vibrate only button) - there is a cut-out in the mold for it.
