"THE PLAY BACK FREEZES EVERY FEW SECONDS AND FINALLY WILL NOT RECOVER AT ALL. DIRECT TV IS AT A LOSS AS TO HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM, AND, BECAUSE THEY ARE GETTING HUNDREDS OF CALLS ON THIS UNIT THEY ARE REFUSING TO HONOR THEIR SUPPORT CONTRACT TO REPLACE THE UNIT. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. "

"DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! We purchased this as the base for our home entertainment system. After 2 service calls, it was diagnosed as being the seat of all problems.
