"I'm not sure what the other reviewers are doing with this antenna to break it, but you are supposed to permanently install it, not transfer it from car to car. If you want to go car to car with it, buy a second one on ebay for like 10 dollars and put that in the other car. I have installed mine in two cars, and also put one in my g/f's car. "Obviously, my overall rating is not an average of the scores. When the antennae is working properly (extra emphasis on WHEN), it works really well. Sound is pretty much crystal clear, but don't be fooled by their "CD Quality" sound claims. It's good, but nowhere near THAT good even with a direct connection. "I have to buy a new antenna at least every 6 - 8 months. I am on # 4 already. My opinion is that Sirius is aware of this issue and I think they should warrant the antennas and replace them for free, since we have to burden ourselves with replacing them so frequently. "
