"Please even with the Sony DSC-F717 this battery didn't last very long. So it may be nice as a quick "replacement" DO NOT DEPEND ON IT AS YOUR "MAIN" BATTERY, for a photoshoot. For your "main" battery...go ahead, bite the bullet, and get the SONY replacement battery. "
