"This drive has(may be different for other customers.. Upon research this specific disc drive has issues recognizing media. Mostly DVD media. I tried a few different brands of DVD+RW/-RW and DVD+R/-R and all failed. It recognises, reads and writes CD-R/RW no problem. "

"this black dvd drive does not included the nero 8 (decoder software) so it could not play the movie. I have to purchase the roxie for 14.99. After install the decoder software the dvd drive work ok. "
