"Music sounds warmer and fuller coming from this player, especially when playing HDCD CD's. I love the sound compared to some other brands. The tray mechanism is quieter than the prior version (DCM 380, which was fried during a thunderstorm.) "

"Great sound... Easy setup... Intuitive interface.. But you must hit Play for it to start and even then when you start on Disc 5 (of 5) it does not rotate automatically to play Disc 1. You can hit 'Repeat' 3X to repeat all disks. But that's annoying.
Overall -- am very satisfied.

"i like to play all 5 cds on random. my old player playes one song from each cd until all all 5 are played.this new player 2 songs from 1 cd then 1 song from the next 1 song from previous cd 3 songs from next. not random at all i reinstalled my old cd player...... "
