"First off, this is a great 7.1 reciever for $200. My only gripe is that for some reason it seems to want to use HDMI as only a video pass-through switcher - I had to run a separate optical cable to get the audio!! What is the point of that?? HDMI's greatest perk is Audio + Video?! "
