"I choose this AVR due to its extensive list of options and the fine Denon name. If I were to do it again I would look more into Yamaha now that I know the weaknesses. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice piece of equipment. The user interface is difficult to use and the manual is useless. Its just not laid out in a simple easy to understand way. "I love the sound and the features. However, the interface is so complex, that many people will be overwhelmed trying to set it up and use it. I am a computer engineer, and have been stumped for hours trying to figure out why certain features “suddenly” stop working.
