"I have my AVR-1910 hooked up to an HD DVR, HDDVD player, Blu-ray player, Wii, SqueezeBox, CD player, and vinyl turntable. Despite a "phono" button on the remote (rear), there is no dedicated phono input so I must use a separate preamp. The Audyssey set-up is fairly easy and takes about 10-15 minutes. "You cannot use any s-video devices with this unit; the s-video port is solely for use with a Denon iPod dock (not included). Some composite sources (Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64) do not work with this unit; they will play sound, but there is no picture output over HDMI. "A great improvement over the Harman/Kardon I use to have. The Multi-EQ function does a great job of smoothing out speaker tone and adjusting for your room's unique acoustical quirks. And the Dynamic volume does a great job bringing down those annoying volume leaps during commercials. "
