"I ordered this Denon Blu-ray player to replace my HD-DVD player, which is now obsolete. The picture and audio quality for both Blu-ray and HD-DVD appears to be exactly the same. Tech support told me to return it to them for a firmware update (one that could not be done by the end-user).
