The Dell Travel Remote is a small remote control that users can carry with them while traveling. This remote is small enough to be stored in the Express Card slot and provides simple functionality for enjoying multimedia content. The remote control fits neatly in the ExpressCard slot but it does not recharge its battery while in the slot. The remote works with the Dell MediaDirect application and is also compatible with the Windows Vista Media Center and Microsoft PowerPoint. With no software interface or product specific driver needed for this remote to work, this remote offers ease of use and operation. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.

You can control your music and movies without having to go to your laptop. Also, the remote is small enough to fit in the PC card slot so you don't lose it. If you are a fan of Winamp, you can even get a plug-in that works with this remote.
