This came with the vesa adapter. I used the dock with a dell 1907 monitor. So now I have a nice spare monitor mount, hrm... yes the included vesa adapter works on the old 1907 monitor mount just fine.

Despite what another reviewer has said, this stand DOES ship with a standard VESA mount. I have it hooked up to a 24" Asus monitor and it works great.

The arm appears to be well constructed and should handle up to a 24" monitor easily. There is a simple screw to switch the tension to match your monitor size, which is helpful.

"Review:This stand does work with the 2001FP and the older style Monitors, but you do have to replace the mounting plate with the VESA plate that also ships with the stand. "
