Additional Thoughts

A pair of 1 GB MM makes the most sense. You have to add the memory in pairs. XP can't use more than 4 GB and if you added 4 GB the OS can't utilize all the memory anyway. So keep the existing 512 MB and max it out with two 1 GB MM. "
