"Pros It will function like any other adapter for its short lifespan (as low as three months in some circumstances). Cons - Doesn't stay secure on the laptop itself. - It's expensive. - It breaks after a short period of time. At first it won't charge the battery, but will still power the laptop. "Review:We had to replace the power adapter every year since we bought the XPS-M170 laptop. And this is the 3rd replacement. I've noticed other people are having the same issue with this power adapter. May be there is enough evidence to launch a class action lawsuit on this. "

Cons
Heavy, Hot, Bulky (as in NOT portable), no cigarette adapter so can't use on plane or in car. Pour design considering it is to be used for a LAPTOP!!!
