"I use this pop up shade on my new Canon G10. I tried installing it right out of the box, but either the camera had some grease on it or the double sided tape wasn't sticky enough. In either case, it didn't stick. Later I used some clear Scotch double sided tape and that is working well so far, even in cold conditions. "Fits on a Canon 5d MkII perfectly. Good clear protective screen. Cheap - low cost which is good. Cheap - poorly built - which is bad. The clip in hood section keeps unclipping from the frame though the frame does stay securely stuck to the camera.
