Mythos Center Channel Loudspeakers fulfill all the requirements of truly great center channel speakers, plus they have the extra added bonus of Mythos style and good looks.

A center channel loudspeaker is the heavy-lifter of your multichannel home theater sound system. Over 50% of movie soundtrack information in a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack mix is delivered by the center channel speaker, so it has to be a real workhorse of a loudspeaker.

A great center channel speaker is able to anchor the action to the screen with pinpoint imaging, and the reproduction of a wide range of sounds from whispered dialogue and detailed sound effects to fiery explosions and jet engine effects. It must be voice-matched to the other loudspeakers in the system, utilizing the same driver complement, so that front stage effects are seamless and realistic — when a jet plane flies from left to right across the front sound stage, the character of the sound does not change as it flies from speaker to speaker.
