The DKVM-8E KVM switch utilizes advanced microprocessor emulation to intelligently manage each KVM port. This allows simultaneous boot-up of all the attached PCs. The KVM switch s intelligent microprocessors save CAPSLOCK, NUM LOCK, and SCROLL LOCK status for each PC. It supports VGA, SVGA and MultiSync monitors at up to 1920 x 1440 resolution. Support for AT type PC with serial mouse ports are included using a mouse conversion technology. The on-screen display (OSD) provides a friendly interface for naming and selecting a specific PC. Hot-plug, auto-scan, audible feedback and keyboard Hot Key s make this device simple to use and manage. Also, two control buttons located on the front panel allow you to select the port and switch (bank). Allows control of eight computers from one keyboard, mouse and monitor. No software required. Each channel contains a microprocessor emulation to intelligently manage the boot-up process for all attached PCs to boot-up transparently and simultaneously. Daisy-Chain ports allow control of as many as 64 computers using 8 DKVM-8E banks. Daisy-Chain bands are automatically detected. No DIP-switch setting needed. On-Screen Display menu gives a visual interface to name and select computers. Eight character password protection and search PC Server name feature. On-Screen Display, push button or keyboard Hot Key commands supported for switching PC s. Auto-Scan mode more convenience in detecting recently attached PC s. Audible feedback when switching. Recalls CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK and SCROLL LOCK keys status for each PC automatically. Supports VGA, SVGA and MultiSync monitors. Up to 1920 x 1440 resolution support with 200MHz bandwidth. Integrated mouse conversion technology allows connection of AT type computers that have serial mouse ports while using a PS/2 mouse at the console. Keyboard and mouse emulation for error-free boot ups. Microsoft IntellMouse , Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer support and emulation.
