"Sturdy build - no plastic. The flip bar is spring loaded so it doesn't move. Easily flips when shooting vertically.The "upside down" screw you see in the picture is currently in its storage position using the only threaded hole on the flip bar. "If you mount your camera so the grip is held with the left hand... it won't work when you flip the flash arm in vertical mode - the camera controls will be on the bottom.
