The iPod Nano USB Hub is a multi-faceted one that charges your iPod Nano, while idle or playing, and serves as a conduit for multiple USB devices. This three port hub connects to your computer instantly (no driver required) and provides a 2.0 hi-speed transfer rate up to 480 mbps for expeditious uploads, and also features an audio line-out jack for toggling between iPod or PC audio playback. With the audio line-out Y cable, you can insert one of the splits (the longer of the two) into your computer to play the audio and listen to it from your headphones that is connected into the jack of the other cable (the shorter of the two). With the toggle option, you can switch between your computer and the iPod inserted in the dock to play from whatever source that is desired.

The over current detection offers protection for the Nano and all three ports from power surges and short-circuiting of connected devices. Your iPod can be powered by either computer via USB cable or with the AC adapter provided. With an LED indicator that allows you to monitor its linkage status, the iPod Nano USB Hub is an essential accessory for those that desire a docking station for their iPod Nano while catering to their need for multiple ports for their many USB devices.
