"I'm very happy with this memory. I use Linux (openSUSE 11.1 x86) and it sees all 4 GB without any trouble. I did have to download the Dell Vostro 1500 manual to learn that one memory slot is on the bottom of the laptop and the other is on the top just under the space key on the keyboard. "
