"This memory does not work for a poweredge 2850 server. I removed all current modules prior to installing this one. I did install it into bank 1 as a kit. "This is a follow from my previous review. I finally got around to upgrading the bios on the server. Contrary to my belief the bios upgrade did solve the beep error at boot up. Now my system recognized the memory with no problems. "
