"Yes it definitely helps. Its has improved the viewing and manipulation of DICOM files. It makes operation faster and smoother. It's cheaper than buying it from Apple; it's about half the cost. "No need for RAM upgrade as I use a MAC. Having said that, upgrading was so easy, why not prolong the life of my MAC, for several more years by upgrading the RAM. Super easy to get the exact match on RAM. Putting it in was a breeze. Will never buy RAM anyplace else. "
