"New Macbook rund OK with 2 GB ram, but if you typically run several apps at one time you will benefit from the upgrade to 4 GB ram (2 x 2 GB sticks). The increase in performance is worth the money, and is much cheaper than buying the Macbook with 4 GB already installed from the factory. "
